Providing free health education
and social service support
to those who need it most.
Decreased Federal, State and Local funding has contributed to a lack of access, for our Senior & Disabled neighbors, to quality healthcare education and support as well as community social services.
We see an increase in unmet needs for Seniors & the Disabled (especially our Veterans) in all types of communities.
Needs that many of us don't think about... such as lacking funds for medicine copay... getting that government "smartphone" but unable to figure out how to use it... being home alone with no one checking on you... having difficulty getting off the toilet because it's low and there is no grab bar... no health insurance and needing a walker... not understanding the directions your Doctor gave for new medication.... these are just a few of the actual needs we have identified and have met.
We are determined to provide the assistance/services/support needed to eliminate these needs and improve the quality of life for some who have felt only despair.
Seniors In Need????
It doesn't have to be that way!
Our goal: S.I.N. no more!
SENIORS IN NEED...NO MORE!
Amazing Grace Health Ministries, Inc. uses Registered Nurses and Social Worker Volunteers
to provide free healthcare management education (PCP-directed) and social service support.
We have other volunteers to provide services
for improving socialization, home safety-enhancements projects.
Everything we do, we do for those who are most in need:
vulnerable seniors, disabled (especially Veterans) and poor.
All programs are run by dedicated Volunteers with a heart for others.
Whether it's calling to check on the wellbeing of a live-alone Senior,
paying the copay for medicine, medical equipment or to see a Doctor...
It may be educating someone with uncontrolled Diabetes,
explaining Insurance/VA benefits, cutting the hair of someone
homebound, installing safety rails in the bathroom or mowing the lawn...
Our ultimate goal is: S.I.N. no more..... SENIORS IN NEED...NO MORE!
